Perhaps you wouldn’t imagine to read a list of the best film trailers? Well when you think about it, trailers are incredibly important to a film’s life cycle. Top 10 – Antiheroes
Since it’s Valentine’s Day this week I thought it would be a good idea to make a list of some much loved romantic comedies. Then I remembered I absolutely hate Valentine’s Day and Deadpool comes out this week. As many of you know, Deadpool’s dark sense of humour and the enjoyment he takes from gruesomely killing his opponents is what makes him so loved amongst comic book fans and I pray this will also be true for the film. So as a tribute to the release of one of the most anticipated films of the year, here are my ten favourite bad ass antiheroes who save the day in a slightly different way from the rest.
Super Bowl 50 TV spot preview: Eddie the Eagle
SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!
With the globe’s single largest sporting event taking place tonight, millions of viewers will be tuning in to see who will take the crown between the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos.
However for film fanatics who may not be that keen on the game itself, some of the biggest blockbusters trailers will be showcased during the adverts in America (we’ll just have to go on YouTube).
This year’s line-up includes the likes of The Jungle Book and Captain America: Civil War, however one teaser which has been confirmed is the inclusion of the tribute to skier Michael Edwards, a.k.a Eddie the Eagle.

Starring Taron Egerton from Kingsman: The Secret Service, the film tells the story of how Britain’s first ever ski jumper to qualify for the Winter Olympics literally crashed into the limelight back in 1988.
Whilst the first full trailer was released back in December, this shortened clip contains the reactions of NFL stars such as Russell Wilson and Drew Brees who seem to rate it very highly.
Even though this may not be the biggest box office hit of 2016, I think the values of being the underdog are hugely relevant for this weekend’s match. This is most likely why Fox decided to use it as one of their two film commercial spots.
Eddie the Eagle is released in UK cinemas on 1st April, for the time being you can watch the Super Bowl trailer and the full version below.
