Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer released

“It’s time for the Jedi to end.”

The first trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Episode VIII of the saga, has been released. 

The trailer was revealed online at a Star Wars Celebration event in Florida.

Arguably the most anticipated film of the year, The Last Jedi begins where The Force Awakens left off. Returning are Daisy Ridley as Rey, John Boyega as Finn, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, and Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker. It’s expected to be the highest grossing film this year, but whether or not it will beat The Force Awakens staggering $2 billion worldwide gross is yet to be seen.

The teaser trailer doesn’t give much away, so we will come back with more as Film Swot learns it.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to hit cinemas on December 15.
